Event partner and leading supplier of vitamins and supplements Healthspan are doing their bit at the Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run on Sunday 26 September by giving back to key workers.
This year, they’re using their event running spaces in the Healthspan Wales 10K Series to give out complementary spaces to key workers. At the Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run this month, they’ll be distributing places to Royal Mail workers. Throughout the pandemic, employees from across the Royal Mail have been working full time to ensure that we still receive our deliveries. To reward them, Healthspan are giving out free spaces to get staff moving in a different way.
Over the past 18 months, we have seen more than ever how important it is to encourage and promote a heathy and active workforce. The free spaces are not only a massive thank you to all the key workers who have helped the nation navigate the difficulties of the past year and a half, but a call to all to get fit and healthy in the workplace.
Speaking about the initiative, Rhian Whitchurch, Head of Brand Marketing, Healthspan
“During the pandemic, we have all heavily relied on our key workers to keep the country running. A service critical for all, and especially for Healthspan, was the postal service. For many, the postman was the only person they may have seen each day during lockdown. For our customers, they were delivering vitamins and supplements at a time when health was of utmost importance. We are extremely grateful for the valuable work and commitment during this time and are delighted to be able to give a little back to Royal Mail workers of Wales.”
Healthspan is the UK’s largest direct vitamin and supplement company and is an Official Partner of R4W.
